IMPULS
Impuls is a youth drive based on the annual youth conference. IMPULS aims to encourage and challenge young people to love Jesus and be a living church!
Impuls is a movement that seeks discipleship and church building among the youth in established churches. IMPULS succeedes when the local church succeedes.
We will be organizing an IMPULS in Thailand to pay special attention to the young leaders. Our dream is to see young people gain a life rooted in infinite values, which God gave them gain confidence and tools for the exemplary life.
VISION
Worship: a heart relationship with God. The bible says that Jesus wanted a personal relationship with each person. God's love is perfect. His act of salvation by sending Jesus showed us this. We are loved because of who we are, not in what we do, and nothing can change that. God's heart beats for us and He calls us to love Him in return. We love because He first loved us (1. John 4:19). God wants everything in our lives to express our love for him.
Community: belonging to each other. God said that the word that best descirbes Him is Father. He is the perfect father we can count on. It makes us brothers and sisters in Christ, and we are together as a large family whom are spread around the world. Not everyone has a positive family experience, but God's family is a place where we can be safe, open, honest and genuine. In God's family we don't have to pretend to be someone other than us.
Growth: not to stand still. The discipleship life that we are disciples of Jesus must learn and develop. Developing takes time, commitment and dedication. Jesus showed this when He spent three years with twelve people to show them what discipleship is. It's about continually taking new steps in faith in God, so that we can experience Him more and what He can do. This strengthens our faith and gives us the courage to keep going.
Service: to make people hear. Actions speak louder than words. Jesus has shown us that there is no greater love than the one who lays down his life for his friends. The bible also tells us that God has bestowed everyone who believes in the spiritual skills they intend to use to "enlighten them", build a church. These are called gifts of grace.
Announcement: going out. God's story is a story of salvation and discipleship. It is about living the mission Jesus gave us: "Go forth and make disciples of the nations." We want to live in such a way that others can have faith in Jesus Christ.
